Cool Packs
« on: September 05, 2009, 09:54:16 AM »
I found a very effective way of managing migrane headaches before pain meds kick in that I wanted to share. if you buy one of those "cool packs" they sell in drug stores that are designed to relieve kids fevers and use one of them it helps take the "edge" off right away without any fuss.

Or a bag of frozen vegetables has made a good substitute for me when desperate! :)

Those are good tips, have your ever tried the quick dissolve pain relief pills or the little sheets that you put on your tongue? They are supposed to be quicker than the usual pills or caplets.

I tried those mint flavored Tylenols once, darn they were dreadful, and I really don't think that they worked any quicker than any other pain reliever.

It's always better taking medicine for headache just to make sure you'll get rid of it. Anyway thanks for sharing your insights.
